The referral system is in beta and will evolve based on feedback
The Roaster's Invite & Earn controls who can create culture on the platform and rewards the people who help discover and onboard real roasters.
It is designed to:
  • Keep creator quality high
  • Prevent spam and farming
  • Reward early discovery without hurting creators

Why Referral Matters?

Roaster is about culture first, not mass onboarding.
Referrals ensure:
  • Real people bring real people
  • Culture is curated, not farmed
  • Rewards go to contributors and discoverers
The stronger the roaster community, the bigger the impact of the cultures we create.

What is a Invite Code?

  • Invite codes are existing Roaster X (Twitter) usernames
  • There are no random codes or promo links
  • You just need to know any active roaster’s X handle
Example:If a roaster’s X username is @example, that is their invite code.

How to Join as a Roaster?

    Enter the platform (with or without invite link)
    Connect your X account
    Enter invite code
    Complete onboarding
    Start roasting and earning
If onboarding steps are not completed, the referral is not counted.

What Counts as a Successful Referral?

A referral is considered successful only when:
  • A new user signs up using your invite code
  • The user completes all onboarding steps
  • The user becomes an active roaster
Signups without completing onboarding steps do not count.

Referral Metrics

  • Total EarnedTotal rewards you’ve earned from active invites across all markets.
  • Total InvitesNumber of users who signed up using your invite link
  • Active InvitesNumber of users who completed onboarding steps successfully
Inactive invites earn you nothing. As it should be.

Referral Rewards

When someone joins Roaster using your invite code, you earn rewards from the markets they actively participate in.
These rewards come from a dedicated allocation per marketThey are not taken from the invitee’s earnings.

How Referral Rewards Are Distributed?

Referral rewards include:
  • Market pool rewards
  • Trading fee rewards generated pre & post graduation

Market Pool

Reward split:
  • Roasters: 95%
  • Referral 5%

Pre-Graduation (Before Token Migration)

Reward split:
  • Roasters: 45%
  • Referrals: 5%
  • Platform: 50%

Post-Graduation (After Token Migration)

Reward split:
  • Roasters: 60%
  • Referrals: 2.5%
  • Platform: 37.5%

How Referral Rewards Are Claimed

  • Referral rewards are tracked per market
  • You can claim them the same way you claim other market rewards
  • Different referrals may earn rewards in different markets
The claim experience is similar to existing reward claims.

Your invite code is automatically created using your connected X (Twitter) username.
Just copy your invite link and share it.
You can share it with:
  • Friends
  • Community members
  • Anyone you think should be roasting
