Roaster is designed to reward real culture, not spam, bots, or farming.
The Fair Play System ensures that attention reflects genuine creativity, real people, and real community response.
Only roasts that contribute meaningfully to the market are allowed to compete.

Roast Caps

Roasters are free to post as many roasts as they want in a market.
Roaster does not limit creativity or posting volume.
However, when it comes to rewards, only a limited number of top-performing roasts per user are considered.
By default:
  • Only a user’s top 5 roasts per market are eligible for rewards
  • All other roasts still contribute to culture, heat, and visibility
  • Rewards are calculated strictly from the highest-quality output
This ensures the system rewards impact, not spam.
Posting more increases your chances of landing a great roast.Posting low-quality volume does nothing for your earnings.

Diversity Bonus

Roasts perform better when engagement comes from a wider set of unique accounts.
  • Engagement from many distinct users is weighted higher
  • Repeated interactions from the same accounts are discounted
This discourages engagement rings, group farming, and artificial boosts.
The system favors broad community resonance over concentrated manipulation.
In short: one hundred real people matter more than ten loud ones.

Influence Boost

Not all attention is equal.
Roaster recognizes that engagement from credible, high-signal accounts carries more cultural weight than engagement from throwaway or low-quality accounts.
Influence Boost increases a roast’s impact when it earns engagement from accounts with:
  • Consistent posting history
  • Organic follower graphs
  • Proven participation in cultural or crypto discourse
  • Past high-quality engagement patterns
This does not mean large accounts automatically win.
Influence Boost:
  • Amplifies earned attention
  • Does not replace quality
  • Cannot be farmed or bought
If an influential account engages because the roast is good, it matters more.If they don’t, no boost exists.
Influence is a multiplier, not a shortcut.

Time Decay (Coming Soon...)

Mindshare cannot be permanent.
If a roast stops receiving fresh engagement, its score gradually decays.
This keeps leaderboards dynamic and competitive throughout the market.
  • Older roasts can be overtaken
  • New, stronger roasts can climb fast
  • Early posting helps, but sustained relevance wins
Camping the leaderboard with weak early posts does not work.

Quality Gating

Not every post deserves a score.
  • Off-topic
  • Spammy
  • Copied
  • Low-effort
These receive a score of zero.
Roasts that fail relevance or quality checks are not synced to the platform.
Quality is evaluated using Roaster’s AI Roast Engine, tuned for:
  • Humor
  • Relevance
  • Originality
If it doesn’t follow the brief or add value, it doesn’t exist.

Anti-Farming Enforcement

Roaster actively monitors patterns that indicate inorganic behavior, including:
  • Repeated content across multiple markets
  • Coordinated engagement patterns
  • Abuse of hashtags or irrelevant tags
Roasts flagged for farming are excluded from scoring and rewards.
No warnings. No partial credit.
Only real, creative, and community-driven roasts rise to the top.
